Tours abroad

Our choir enjoys performing in concerts abroad. It is not compulsory for members to join these tours, but everyone is encouraged to do so. In recent years we have travelled to France, Italy, the Czech Republic, Ireland, Belgium and Spain. We have also enjoyed an exchange trip with a choir in Denmark.

The focus of any tour is of course the concerts and our tours have allowed us to sing at some of Europe's most amazing venues. There is also, of course, the enjoyment of simply being in a different European location and being able to sample the local food and drink and also to visit some of the landmarks of the region.

We have recently returned from a most enjoyable trip to the Netherlands. Watch this space for some great photographs of the tour.

Social events

Social events include a dinner during the Christmas/New Year season, and a barbecue in the summer, both of which are always well-attended.
